What are the rates of your services?
Individuals must have Medicaid insurance, and our services are covered 100%.
What is the criteria to receive services?
To receive services, individuals must have Medicaid, be over age 18, have been diagnosed with a serious mental illness, have been hospitalized in the past for psychological concerns, and require assistance with activities of daily living.
Who will be assigned as my Mental Health Support Specialist?
Mental health support specialists have a bachelor's degree in the field (at a minimum) and are certified by the state of Virginia as a Qualified Mental Health Professional- Adult (QMHP-A). Each QMHP-A has a supervisor who has a Master's Degree and is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or is a resident in either of these two areas.
How soon can I start?
The clinical supervisor will first screen you and assess you to determine if the criteria for the service is met. It could then take a few days to a few weeks for Medicaid to approve the services.
